Recipe: Sausages-Asia Soup with TrueBrodo Chicken Bone Broth for 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 1-2 jars of TrueBrodo Chicken Bone Broth, depending on desired concentration.
- 3 dl of water (optional for dilution)
- 1-2 pork sausages from Ueli Hof
- 1 onion
- 1 small piece of ginger, finely chopped
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 carrot, sliced thinly
- A portion of Chinese cabbage (as desired), spring onions, and optional chili, sliced
- Rice noodles (as per package instructions)
- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
- Sear the pork sausage for about 10 minutes in wok oil, clarified butter, or toasted sesame oil – it doesn’t need to be fully cooked, as it will simmer in the broth later.
- Dilute TrueBrodo Chicken Bone Broth with 3 dl of water or heat it undiluted in a pot.
- Add onions to the sausage pan and sauté for 5 minutes. Sauté ginger and garlic briefly in the oil.
- Add carrot slices to the boiling chicken broth right from the start.
- After 10 minutes, slice the sausage and add it to the broth.
- Add the Chinese cabbage and rice noodles and let them simmer gently for 3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, cilantro, or chili.
